INTERMAPS collaborates with the University of Caldas in Manizales, Colombia

From October 2 to 4, Leon Freude and Júlia Pascual engaged in a teaching collaboration with the University of Caldas in Manizales, Colombia, presenting the INTERMAPS project.
During the sessions, they shared insights on spatial-affective mapping methodologies used in INTERMAPS to explore lived experiences, emotions, and socio-political dynamics. Workshops, discussions, and collaborative exercises introduced innovative approaches to feminist and intersectional research in geography.
This collaboration strengthens international academic exchange, providing opportunities for Colombian and international researchers to explore new ways of understanding space, emotion, and everyday experiences through mapping tools.
Through these activities, INTERMAPS continues to expand its network of partners in Latin America and promote participatory, interdisciplinary methodologies in geographical research.
