GRITIM-UPF starts a new series of Qualitative Methods Research Seminars with the aim to open a space to discuss about qualitative methods.
In this framework, GRITIM-UPF invites to the first seminar of this series:
Monitoring xenophobic political discourses: Concepts and measurements. A test-study in Catalonia

Place: Seminar room: 13.005 (Ramón Turó building. UPF Ciutadella Campus, Barcelona).
Time: From 15:00 to 17:00 h.
The general purpose of the seminar is to present and discuss the methodology it has been applied to monitor xenophobic political discourse. The particular aim is to assess with the participants:
a) the theoretical foundations of the framework proposed,
b) its impartiality, reliability, transparency and replicability,
b) whether the framework can accomplish its academic, social and political functions.
