Biology of Disease
The Biology of disease research program aims (i) to decode the molecular and cellular pathways linked to disruption of physiological homeostasis leading to major disease states and (ii) to develop novel therapeutic intervention strategies. It covers neoplastic transformation, neurological dysfunction, diabetes and virus-triggered pathogenesis that are studied from single cell to systemic levels combining cutting-edge experimental and informatic approaches.
