The procedure for applying for the Official Master's Degree is the same as for a Bachelor's Degree, although some parts of the process may refer to “Bachelor’s Degree”. This is the correct procedure to obtain your official Master’s Degree.

Description

Applying for the Master’s Degree Certificate is the procedure through which you obtain your official degree certificate.

Master's degree courses have between 60 and 120 ECTS credits (one or two academic years full-time study), plus the master's thesis. Once successfully completed, they lead to the award of the official Master's Degree.

Procedure

To apply for the Official Master’s Degree, your academic record must be in the status Closed and qualification ready.

  1. Check your personal details
    Name and surname, nationality, ID or passport number, date, place and country of birth they must match exactly the information on your identity document.
    • If they do not match, you must request a data modification through the Electronic Office before submitting your application for the degree.
    • Any costs arising from later changes to these details will be at your own expense.
       
  2. Apply for the degree
    Apply for the master's degree online through the Virtual Secretary. At the end of the procedure, you will be able to print the application receipt.
     
  3. Receive the provisional degree certificate
    Within a few days, you will receive the provisional degree certificate by email at the address provided during the application.
     
  4. Collect your official degree
    Within one year from the date of payment of the fee, you will receive an email notification to collect your official master's degree.
