Credit recognition
Descripction
Procedure whereby the UPF can accept credits previously earned in other official studies, completed at this or another university, and incorporate them into your academic record as part of the master's degree you are currently pursuing. These recognised credits will count towards your official master's degree.

From July 1st to November 30th
Procedure
- Submission of the application and required documents
You must submit your credit recognition application to the Student Information Desk (PIE) within the established deadline, along with the following documents:- Credit recognition form, indicating the subjects to be recognised and their equivalence with the destination subjects.
- Proof of payment of the fee.
- Official academic transcript with the credits and grades obtained (not required if the original studies were completed at UPF).
- A copy of the curriculum, stamped by the originating institution.
- A copy of the course syllabuses, also stamped by the originating institution.
- Official translation if the documents are in a language other than Catalan, Spanish or English.
- Review and assessment of the application
The secretary's office of your studies will review your application, and the master's programme director will decide whether the requested credits can be recognised.
- Notification of the decision
Once your application has been reviewed, you will receive a notification with the decision. If approved, the recognised credits will be incorporated into your academic record.
Please note
❗ Credits from the Master's Final Project (TFM) cannot be recognised, unless it was completed within the framework of an international mobility programme.
