He is a journalist specializing in China and East Asia. His research focuses on the Chinese media and the Internet. He founded and manages Zaichina.net, an on-line alternative magazine offering information about China in relation to the place and role of its media. He also works as an editor, translator and host in the Spanish channel of the Chinese public television  Chinese Central Television (CCTV-E). He has written the book  Universitario en China. Las universidades que están formando a los futuros líderes del país (Fundación ICO, 2010). From Beijing he collaborates with media such as  Diario Público, Punto Radio, La Voz de Galicia, the Spanish version of Foreign Policy,  La Aventura de la Historia,  Ocho Leguasand  Soitu. He has undertaken courses at the University of Beijing, Institut National de Langues et Civilisations Orientales, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and Universidad Computense.
