She received her BA in Fine Arts (Cinema-Photography-Video) from the Barcelona University. In 2008 she obtained the DEA research proficiency diploma on the  Multilingual communicationprogramme in the UPF's Department of Translation. She is continuing her doctoral research about Teaching  Chinese through tasks. She taught Chinese at the School of International Trade (ESCI) from 1996 to 2006, and on the Postgraduate Course in Commercial Chinese (IDEC-ESCI). Since 2002, she held a teaching post in the Department of Humanities on the East Asian Studies bachelor's degree course (UPF-UAB). She also taught Chinese for three years at the University of Barcelona School of Modern Languages (EIM) and, since 2007, on the Pompeu Fabra University Language Training Programme (PEI). At present, she combines her work as a Chinese teacher with her professional activity as a translator and interpreter for various publishing houses, companies and official bodies. She has published several articles about Chinese teaching methodologies.
