BA in History and Science of Music (University of Granada) and East Asian Studies (UPF-UAB).  He moved to China to study at Peking University, Minzu University of China (Beijing) and Shanghai Conservatory of Music where he began his research on Chinese traditional music, and initiated on the practice of qin with Prof. Dai Wei. In 2012 completed a Master in Ethnomusicology at SOAS (University of London), where he deepened his knowledge, specializing in opera and traditional qin. In London linked to the London JingKun Opera Association and the London Youlan Qin Society, where he received lessons from performer Cheng Yu. Prof. Caro is a member of the Research Group of Asian Studies (University of Granada) and the Music Technology Group (UPF), as a participant in the project CompMusic.
