The Board of Trustees is the body for societal participation in the university. It:

  • collaborates on the university’s strategic planning;
  • promotes quality and continuous improvement policies in all the university’s areas;
  • exercises the duties and powers attributed to it by law with regard to programming, management, finances, budget, heritage and the university community; and
  • fosters relations between the university and its cultural, professional, financial, social and regional environment.
