Vanessa Soria has a three-year degree in Social Education and has completed the master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Barcelona.

She has worked as a coordinator of the transversal competences programme of the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences at UPF and as a researcher for the Commissioner for Participation, Employability and Social Entrepreneurship of the office of the rector of the University of Barcelona. She has also given teaching classes at the UB on the bachelor’s degree courses on Pedagogy, Social Education and Infant Teacher Education, as well as on the master’s degrees on Secondary Education Teaching and Educational and Social Interventions.

Her current research focuses on the socio-educational field, particularly matters of transversal competences, socio-educational research and innovation, and gender. She is a member of research groups of UPF and the UB and has several academic publications to her name.

Currently, Vanessa Soria works as a specialist in the field of Innovation at the CLIK and is an adjunct lecturer with the Faculty of Education of the University of Barcelona.
