This descriptive study is based on the best information available regarding employment, work and health conditions
in Costa Rica. To do this, indicators have been calculated on the characteristics of the labor market, the conditions
safety, hygiene, ergonomics and psychosocial in the workplace, self-perceived health, general mortality and
injuries from work accidents.
