This year, the University, through the Technical Office of Occupational Risk Prevention, establishes awards to recognize academic work, initiatives and good practices that contribute to the effective implementation of the prevention of occupational risks. Among them, for the first time, a prize is awarded, with a grant of 500 euros. The purpose of this award is to stimulate and give public recognition to end-of-degree or master's projects, doctoral theses, or publications that address occupational health. In 2019 the type that is convened is the Prevention of occupational hazards, that is, the UPF Prevention Award, in memory of Jordi Castejón. The deadline for receipt of applications ends on March 31.
