Consol Serra is among the 25 scholarship holders with the largest number of publications and appointments from the more than 4,500 scholarship holders of La Caixa financed by this entity since 1982 began the scholarship program to study abroad. Consol Serra is 15th in number of publications and 24th in number of appointments.

Consol Serra is currently head of the Health Department of the Parc Salut Mar, associate professor at the Pompeu Fabra University (UPF), head of Studies of the Teaching Unit of Occupational Medicine "Mateu Orfila" and group leader of the Center of Occupational Health Research (CiSAL-UPF / IMIM).
