This Course-Workshop (face-to-face and virtual) is organized by the International University of Andalusia with the collaboration of CISAL-UPF, the University of Huelva, the Ecuadorian Observatory of Safety and Health at Work (OESST) and the Organization Iberoamerican Social Security (OISS)

The La Rábida Headquarters of the International University of Andalusia (UNIA) is offering 20 courses this summer, one of which focuses on maps and profiles of occupational health in Latin America, taking place from 11 to 14 July . Dr. Fernando Benavides, researcher at the Center for Research in Occupational Health (CiSAL) of Pompeu Fabra University, leads this workshop course that mainly addresses occupational health, the factors that determine it and the regulation of the labor market in a context globalizer.

The initiative aims to provide conceptual and methodological tools with which to undertake useful studies to make policy decisions on occupational health and improve professional practice.

The course will be led by Fernando G. Benavides, doctor and senior researcher at CISAL-UPF and will also feature the participation of academic experts in occupational health, such as Michael Silva Peñaherrera, doctor and researcher at CISAL-UPF, the Dr. Antonio Ramón Gómez García, from the University of the Holy Spirit (Ecuador) and Dr. Juan Gómez Salgado, from the University of Huelva.
