The General Council of Industrial Relations and Labor Sciences at its meeting on March 7, 2022 held in Madrid awarded the Gold Medal for professional merit in industrial relations and labor sciences to Dr. Michael Silva Peñaherrera, postdoctoral researcher at the center occupational health research. The delivery of this recognition was made during the 4th Conference on Occupational Safety and Health, the Faculty of Labor Sciences and Human Behavior of the SEK International University in Quito-Ecuador.
