On June 24, the Conference "The State of Welfare and Public Health" was held by Dr. Fernando G. Benavides, researcher of CiSAL. The conference was held at the Hygiene Institute of Montevideo (Uruguay), sponsored by the Department of Quantitative Methods of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of the Republic of Uruguay.
