Title: "Distribution and determinants of work-related violence in 6 Central American countries"

The session will be carried out by Venus Catherine Forero, Graduate in Medicine, Specialist in Family and Community Medicine, currently a Master of Public Health at the University Pompeu Fabra.

Summary of the session: "Work-related violence (VRT) is defined as any act related to events of force or power violated by humans over others. Knowledge of the VRT or other forms of violence in addition to the physical ones is scarce, associated with this problem. Central America has little literature on working conditions. The objective of this study is to analyze the distribution and the determinants associated with the VRT (sexual and non-sexual) and with the fear related to the work in situ and during the displacements to and from the place of work in Central America.
