Title: "Participation patterns in the labor market and its association with the course of temporary incapacity"

The session will be carried out by Julio Cesar Hernandez, Graduate in Economics (2010) and Master's Degree in Public Health (2016) from the Pompeu Fabra University. He is currently conducting a doctorate in Biomedicine at the Center for Research in Occupational Health (CISAL) UPF / IMIM-PSMAR. He is a member of the Biomedical Research Center in Epidemiology and Public Health Network (CIBERESP)

Summary of the session: "Most of the literature has studied the effect of working and employment conditions on temporary disability (IT), although there are scarce studies based on participation in the labor market (ie job transitions to unemployment or out of the labor market) as a determinant of the course of IT. The objective of the study is to describe 3 years of IT trajectory (2012-2014), according to employment conditions and diagnostic groups, and analyze their association with 10 previous years of participation in the labor market (2002-2011). "
