Roger Cuartielles is a lecturer and pre-doctoral researcher in the Department of Communication at Pompeu Fabra University. Before becoming a lecturer at UPF, he was an associate lecturer at the University of Barcelona and Ramon Llull-Blanquerna University. Cuartielles holds a degree in Journalism and Humanities; a master's degree in Communication Research; a master's degree in Journalism and Digital Communication: Data and New Narratives; and a master's degree in Teacher Training. His lines of research focus on disinformation and the phenomenon of fact-checking linked to artificial intelligence, as well as crisis communication and political communication.
