Fair Play. Revista de Filosofia, Ètica i Dret de l'Esport és una revista electrònica dedicada a l'anàlisi interdisciplinari del esport des del punt de vista de la filosofia, l'ètica i la reflexió teòric-jurídica. Al costat de la preocupació filosòfica, la revista acull també temes d'índole jurídic donada l'evident connexió que sorgeix en moltes ocasions amb les cuestiónses filosòfiques. La revista està dirigida principalment a investigadors, professionals i estudiants avançats. Té una periodicitat semestral a l'abril i a l'octubre.

Presentamos la tercera edición de la Sport and Global Governance Conference que con gran éxito de participación se realizó el año pasado.
El Congreso tendrá lugar los próximos 26 y 27 de abril en el Campus Ciutadella de la Universidad Pompeu Fabra.
Se trata de un congreso abierto a todos, estudiantes, profesores y profesionales que estén interesados en analizar desde una vertiente crítica los problemas éticos, filosóficos, jurídicos y / o morales del mundo del deporte.
El Congreso consistirá en dos jornadas en las que habrá tres conferencias invitadas (keynotes) de profesores/as y profesionales reconocidos en la materia que versarán sobre el tema del Congreso. Por otra parte habrá varios paneles donde las y los ponentes elegidos podrán presentar su trabajo y discutir con las personas que asistan. En esta misma web se puede consultar el programa del Congreso.
El tema principal de este año es Gender & Sport. Animamos a todos a participar y a presentar comunicaciones.

It is an honour and a pleasure to be associated with this new journal Fair Play, Journal of Philosophy, Ethics and Sports Law. It is a welcome edition to the small, but growing field of scholarly journals dealing with philosophical, ethical and legal issues in sport. The journal aims to publish current and contemporary articles from philosophers, lawyers, sociologists, pedagogues, psychologists and administrators. It will provide another platform for the rapidly expanding international and multi-lingual community of academics and practitioners to share ideas and engage in debate. As such it is the first journal to publish articles in both Spanish and English. The journal has a truly international feel with the editorial board featuring some of the foremost scholars in the field. I look forward to reading the journal and encourage scholars to support the journal by submitting work to be considered for publication. With the support of the scholarly community the journal can establish a reputation for publishing excellent research in the field. It has been a pleasure to see Philosophy of Sport grow as a discipline over the years and its health today is down to the hard work and enthusiasm of individuals like José Luis Pérez Triviño who seek to provide new opportunities for scholars to present and publish their work. I wish the journal every success.
