RemixED presented at the 9th ENSEC Conference on Social Emotional Learning for Lifetime Achievement

Chania, Greece – 2024 September 05
From September 5-7, the 9th ENSEC Conference on Social Emotional Learning for Lifetime Achievement brought together international scholars working in the field of social and emotional learning (SEL). Renown SEL researchers such as Helen Skouteris
from Monash University, Eva Oberle from the University of British Columbia, Stephen Elliott from Arizona State University, and Kimberly A. Schonert-Reichl from the University of Illinois Chicago shared their latest work with the community.
Marc Beardsley, coordinator of RemixED, presented the RemixED project in a presentation titled, “Teacher Professional Development to Foster Student Wellbeing: Teacher Impressions of a Collaborative Learning Design Approach.” The presentation was co-authored by Nayia Stylianidou, Maria Meletiou-Mavrotheris, J. Roberto Sánchez, and Angelos Sofianidis – and was received positively. The ENSEC community was intrigued by the collaborative learning design approach to teacher professional development and the specific content used as part of the stress management training for teachers.
The presentation slides are available here.
