General Registry
El Registre General de la Universitat és una unitat administrativa amb consideració d'òrgan administratiu que té per objecte deixar constància oficial de l'ingrés de tot escrit o comunicació que sigui presentat o rebut en qualsevol unitat administrativa de la Universitat Pompeu Fabra, i de l'expedició d'escrits i comunicacions oficials adreçades a altres organismes o a particulars, mitjançant la seva anotació al Registre d'entrada i sortida.
El Registre General de la UPF està mecanitzat i integrat informàticament per la qual cosa es podran realitzar assentaments des de diferents seus que es troben a cadascun dels edificis de la Universitat. La documentació es pot presentar presencialment o electrònicament, en funció del que estableixi cada procediment.
La UPF només admet el registre de la documentació que va adreçada als seus òrgans i unitats. Per tant, la documentació adreçada a l'Estat o a la Generalitat o a una comunitat autònoma o a una altra universitat s'haurà de registrar o lliurar segons el que indiqui la norma o convocatòria que regula el seu procediment.
The schedule of the General Registry to receive users face-to-face is:

From 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.

From 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Tuesday and Wednesdays.
The General Registry offices on the Ciutadella campus, Poblenou campus and Mar campus attend by appointment only. You can consult the e-mail address where you can request an appointment in the section Offices of the General Registry of the University; It is different for each office.
Specific schedules of holiday periods
- Easter opening hours (from March 30 to April 2, 2026): Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Summer opening hours (from June 16 to August 7, and from August 24 to September 10, 2026): Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Christmas opening hours (from 21 December, 2026 to January 5, 2027): Monday to Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
On April 23, Sant Jordi, the General Registry is closed because it is the Institutional Holiday of the University.
From 3 to 7 and from 24 to 31 August 2026, only the General Registry of the University is open in the Mercè Building (carrer de la Mercè, 12)
From 10 to 21 August 2026 inclusive, all General Registry offices will remain closed and will not attend to users in person.
From 24 to 31 December 2026, inclusive, only the General Registry of the University is open in the Mercè Building (carrer de la Mercè, 12)
