The AgroBank Chair “Quality and Innovation in the Agri-Food Sector”, promoted by CaixaBank and the University of Lleida, offers the following

Open Call Award for the Best Doctoral Thesis for doctors who have obtained their degree at a Spanish university by completing a doctoral thesis on a topic related to Quality and Innovation in the agricultural or food sector.
The objective of this award is to recognize research carried out in agriculture, livestock or food, in a broad sense, especially in the areas of innovation, quality or agri-food safety, rewarding those thesis that represent a significant advance in knowledge in this field.
Application period: from March 1, 2024 to April 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.
1st prize: 5,000 euros
2nd prize 1.000 euros.
All those doctors, of any nationality, who have defended their doctoral thesis at any of the Spanish universities between November 1, 2022 and December 31, 2023, having obtained the highest grade (excellent cum laude), will be eligible for the award. * (Theses that have been submitted for a similar award and have not yet been resolved, nor those that have been awarded by any other institution, will not be eligible to compete. The Extraordinary Doctorate Award awarded by the university where the thesis was defended is excluded from this criterion.)
