ioconductor is a non-profit organization that supports one of the most widely used data analysis ecosystems in genomics. Taking advantage of the presence of Carpentry instructors attending the European Bioconductor Conference EuroBioC2025 at the PRBB, Bioconductor and the Department of Medicine and Life Sciences at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (MELIS-UPF) organize on September 15th and 16th, 2025, the following two Bioconductor Carpentry Workshops:

• Analysis and interpretation of bulk RNA sequencing data with Bioconductor.
• Analysis and interpretation of single-cell RNA sequencing data with Bioconductor.

To promote training in biomedical data science among its doctoral students, MELIS-UPF made a call on the past June 5th for four scholarships that cover the full cost of registration fees for these workshops for MELIS-UPF PhD students. These four scholarships have been awarded to the PhD students Maria Artigues, Maria Fernanda Ponce, Tatiana Gusinskaia i Sol Ribó.
