European Bioconductor Conference (EuroBioC2025)

The European Bioconductor Conference (EuroBioC2025) will take place in Barcelona from 17 to 19 September 2025. This event is jointly organized by Bioconductor, a non-profit organization that supports one of the leading ecosystems for genomic data analysis, and the Department of Medicine and Life Sciences at Universitat Pompeu Fabra (MELIS-UPF).
The conference will feature keynote presentations by:
- Dr. Vince Carey, Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, USA
- Dr. Susan Holmes, Professor of Statistics, Stanford University, USA
- Dr. James Sharpe, Group Leader and Head of Outstation, EMBL Barcelona, Spain
- Dr. Noelia Ferruz, Group Leader, Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), Barcelona, Spain
- Dr. Jacques Serizay, Postdoctoral Fellow, Institut Pasteur, Paris, France
- Dr. Helena Crowell, Postdoctoral Fellow, CNAG, Barcelona, Spain
as well as contributed sessions of short and flash talks, posters, birds-of-a-feather (BoF) sessions, and workshops showcasing the latest developments on Bioconductor packages and workflows.
Ahead of the main event, two Bioconductor Carpentry Workshops will be held on 15 and 16 September:
- Analysis and interpretation of bulk RNA sequencing data with Bioconductor
- Analysis and interpretation of single-cell RNA sequencing data with Bioconductor
