We are happy to welcome the new PhD students that are joining the MTG this academic year:

Roser Batlle will work on an Industrial PhD project in collaboration with the company Sony Group Corporation on transparency in music creation algorithms.

Enric Gusó will also carry on an Industrial PhD with Eurecat working on audio spatialization related topics.

Panagiota Anastasopoulou joins the Freesound team for her PhD on sound classification techniques.

Thomas Nuttall will focus his PhD thesis on the melodic patern analysis mainly on Indian Classical Music.

Panagiota and Thomas will carry on their PhD under a MTG scholarship.

We are excited to have them with us and wish them a very fruitful period in their careers.
