The Music Technology Group is involved in different research, education and cultural initiatives by itself or in collaboration with other institutions. There are many ways in which interested people can collaborate or work with the MTG.

2 PhD internships co-supervised by the MTG (UPF) & BMAT

Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PhD (Master’s students might also be considered).
  • Background in: Computer Science, Machine Learning, Music Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields.
  • Strong programming and machine learning skills
  • Curiosity, critical thinking, and a strong sense of scientific rigor.
  • Interest in contributing to a publication-oriented research project.
  • Publications in relevant conferences or journals (ISMIR, ICASSP, ICML...)
