The Music Technology Group is involved in different research, education and cultural initiatives by itself or in collaboration with other institutions. There are many ways in which interested people can collaborate or work with the MTG.

PhD position part of Doctoral Network funded by Horizon Europe (HORIZON) Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions
Research topic: Effects of interactive EEG based sonification and music generation, on sleep induction and sleep quality
Requirements: M.Sc in Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Biomedical Engineering, Psychology, or Computer Science; experience in electronic music production; experience in computer programming (ideally Python); experience in statistics and data processing; proof of English proficiency (e.g. TOEFL or similar test, not for native speakers). Desirable, but not required, are: experience with human-subject experimentation, machine learning, and audio programming (e.g. Pd, Max/MSP)

Teaching Postdoc positions
The selected candidate will hold teaching and research responsibilities. Teaching will be done in subjects from the undergraduate programs of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, with a total of 100 hours per year and aiming to become coordinator of at least one undergraduate subject.
We seek highly qualified applicants with a strong commitment to excellence in teaching and the ability to teach at all levels.
In addition the candidate will carry on research tasks including the publication of research articles and the participation in proposals and projects of research and technology transfer.
