The knowledge and dissemination unit’s main objectives are to create a network connecting the main social agents working within the field of LSC, increase cooperation and joint actions among diverse units and services both within and outside UPF, as well as advise agencies, institutions, and other universities in the area of sign languages. LSC-UPF Actua carries out dissemination and outreach activities in close collaboration with organizations within the deaf community, as well as public and private entities that work for the promotion of sign language. It also provides advice to different UPF units and services that are in charge of social responsibility policies, accessibility, disability, university students and staff services,  transfer and outreach, multilingualism, and the development of administrative and services staff.
