The Molecular Physiology lab is interested in recruiting highly motivated scientists for the different projects running in the laboratory. In this sense, besides the open positions we have from specific fundings that we advertise on this website, we encourage people with competitive curriculum to contact us by sending a motivation letter and a CV in order to apply for the different official calls of PhD and postdoc fellowships.
Besides, we are a laboratory committed to the training of future scientists. Therefore we have open positions for summer students every year to do internships. Any student interested should send an application to our email account.

Postdoctoral position. We offer a Postdoctoral Position in the Laboratory of Molecular Physiology at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona) in the field of Ion channels, Cell signalling and/or Mechanotransduction. Position imples 180h annual teaching. Salary: 38.502,10 per year. Duration 3 years + 3 optional years. - Pre-doctoral fellowship position. We offer a Predoctoral Position (PhD Position) in the Laboratory of Molecular Physiology at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). The specific project to be developed is: “Mechanosensitive ion channels in the pathophysiology of neurodegenerative diseases”. If you are fascinated by the aging and nervous system and its vulnerability to neurodegenerative diseases join our dynamic research team! We are now open to receive letters of interest plus C.V. as well as two recommendation letters. The selected candidate will entry to the 2024 FPI fellowship call associated to our project to start at January 2025. Please send your letters to [email protected] until 30 September 2024. - FPU candidates. The Laboratory of Molecular Physiology is looking for two candidates to apply for two pre-doctoral contracts in the call for applications for the "Formación de Profesorado Universitario" (FPU) 2023 (official deadline for the submission of applications: 15/02/2024), in order to carry out the PhD thesis at the Department of Medicine and Life Sciences of the University Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). The two projects in wich these doctoral thesis would be framed will be related to HEMIPLEGIC MIGRAINE (project AEI/PID2022-136546OB-I00) and ZINC TOXICITY (project AEI/ PID2022-136511OB-I00).
