As part of its knowledge transfer activities, the JHU-UPF Public Policy Center publishes short, accessible videos that summarise key elements of the research and projects carried out at the Center. The objective of these videos is to bridge the gap between academia and the rest of society and promote the democratization of knowledge. They do this by presenting the knowledge generated at the Center in an attractive and digestible format that is capable of engaging a wide audience and generating debate.

Democràcia('t): polítiques públiques a l'abast de tothom

In 2023, the Center delivered "Democràcia('t): polítiques públiques a l'abast de tothom" [Democratise (yourself): public policies in everyone’s reach], a project that aimed to make visible our research and teaching activities in important areas of public and social policies. Democràcia('t) contributes to the creation of a dialogue between academia and citizens as a whole, building networks of knowledge and democratic reflection on social challenges and how to address them, highlighting the importance of research in these processes.

Democracia('t) was an audiovisual project delivered in Catalan, composed of explanatory video-summaries of between 60 and 120 seconds with a critical, systemic and interdisciplinary vision, based on the research produced at local, state and international levels at the JHU-UPF Public Policy Center.
