I hold a Ph.D. in Geography and have a strong interest in working with environmental and climate policies and planning. With a solid academic foundation, I have actively collaborated on numerous interdisciplinary projects focusing on disaster risk management, climate change, watershed planning and management, and community participation.
My career encompasses extensive experience in both university teaching and scientific research. I have demonstrated my potential by producing impactful publications and participating in relevant academic events.
My professional journey is deeply rooted in my commitment to fostering the well-being of vulnerable communities. I have employed Participatory Geographic Information Systems (PGIS). My goal is to continue bridging academic insights with practical applications, with a strong focus on inclusive policies, nature protection, and disaster risk reduction in vulnerable communities.
Currently, I am an MSCA Postdoctoral Fellow working on the LEARN-UCJ Project, which aims to unpack the potential of social learning for urban climate justice in policy making and urban planning at the Johns Hopkins University - Universitat Pompeu Fabra Public Policy Center.
