The aim of CUIDATS project is to develop an integrated low-cost non-invasive transmission/reception system responsible of the localization and monitoring of patients in health care environments. Different wireless technologies such as sensor networks and RFID are involved in the project, as well as a software management platform properly integrated in the information system of the health care center.

As a result of the project, a prototype for testing purpouses in a real environment was created. Thus, the solution can be integrated in the center management system in order to validate its usefulness regarding the service management, primarily to reduce inefficiencies in the resource administration as well as in the localization and monitoring of patients.
