My research interests focus on the study of foodstuffs and organic products and how these might have been procured, processed and stored, or used in long-distance exchange across ancient societies through the use of biomolecular techniques such as lipid residue analysis. My areas of interest are South Asia (specifically the Indus Civilisation) and the Neolithic and Bronze Age in SE Arabia.
