Over the weekend of October 11–12, three second-year students — Janne Rotter, Alessandro Vecchi, and Marcelo Jimenez — participated in both the VEED.IO and Linguo-dev challenges at the HackBarna Hackathon, part of the AI Summit Barcelona 2025. 

In just 48 hours, the team built Echoes, an innovative app that lets users photograph a statue or portrait and hear its story in the “voice” of the artwork itself.

Their creativity and teamwork were recognised with fantastic prizes, including a free year of VEED Pro and a mentorship session with the CEO of VEED.
