Our commitment to equality and equity guides the actions we carry out within the DigiDoc Group, in order to materialize gender perspective in our daily activities, as well as in our tasks dedicated to research and the dissemination of knowledge. In accordance with the Guidelines for university teaching with a gender perspective, published by the Xarxa Vives de Universidades, and in accordance with the promotion of equality, promoted by the European Research Council, our group privileges the leading participation of women in our decisions and scientific production.

Based on the three principles established in the Law 17/2015, of July 21 -approved by the Parliament of Catalonia- which deals with effective equality between women and men, we have adopted the following guidelines regarding the inclusive and equal coordination of our cluster; the equitable participation of speakers in our training activities; and inclusive representation in the participants of our investigations and case studies:

Inclusive and equal coordination of our group:

We ensure that the election of the managerial positions of our group obeys a criterion where equal balance prevails. This also happens in the formation of work teams and research projects, and the request for support to obtain resources.

Equitable participation of speakers in our training activities:

We ensure that the formation of our group, its activities and work teams maintain a balance between academic merit and gender parity.

Inclusive representation in the participants of our investigations and case studies:

We ensure that our work is focused on case studies where gender parity prevails, as well as a constant consideration of the existing range of sexual orientations.
