Cristina Fernández Aguilar is an investigative journalist specializing in human rights, indigenous peoples, and the environment. She holds a bachelor's degree in Social Communication, a master's degree in Political Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, and a master's degree in Political Communication from the Complutense University of Madrid, after receiving scholarships for academic excellence from the International Cooperation Agencies of Chile and Spain. She has developed her career in journalism and academia, and has experience in radio, print media, institutional communication, and political communication. Her doctoral thesis project explores how narrative frameworks influence the visibility of historically silenced communities in Latin America.
