Jasper Eshuis, a Professor and researcher at Erasmus University Rotterdam, is embarking on a visiting fellowship at the Department of Communication within our research group from February to May 15th 2024.

As an Associate Professor in Public Administration, Jasper focuses his research on governance, public branding, and citizen participation. He currently works on the role of affect and emotions in the relation between citizens and public organizations. With a significant body of work published in top-tier journals such as Public Administration Review, Public Administration, Public Management Review, and Urban Studies, his expertise lies in fundamental research and applied studies aimed at advising both public and private organisations and communities.

During his stay, Jasper Eshuis will work on two projects. The first one is on the co-creation of place brand experience by multiple stakeholders. The second project is on the development of emotionally intelligent public governance.
