Interuniversity meeting to debate and share experiences about Bachelor Final Project

On September 7th, funded by a PlaQUID project, the USQUID-ESUP coordinated an Interuniversity Meeting with the aim of sharing ideas and experiences with members of other universities about the development of the subject Final Degree Project, which will begin the next course 2012-2013.

On September 7th, funded by a PlaQUID project, the USQUID-ESUP coordinated an Interuniversity Meeting with the aim of sharing ideas and experiences with members of other universities about the development of the subject Final Degree Project, which will begin the next course 2012-2013.

The participants were: Mercè Rullàn as IT Engineering and Engineering Degree studies coordinator of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and as IDES (Educational Innovation to the Higher education) TFG interest group member; Mª Jesus Marco and Lourdes Guardia from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC); Carme Rovira and Lucia Gil as members of the Center for the Quality and the Educational Innovation (CQUID-UPF); and Davinia Hernández-Leo, Verónica Moreno and Irene Camps as event organizers and USQUID-ESUP members.

During this session, all participants exposed their experience about developing the Final Degree Projects (in the previous degree and the new ones) discussing topics from subject organization to its evaluation.

With that as basis, a debate was created about the required elements to consider for this subject, possible obstacles in its development, and those elements needing more work to come to a better concretion. 

The resultant conclusions of the meeting are going to be a source of reflection and a support to keep working in the End of Degree Work Guide production, another PlaQUID which USQUID-ESUP is working on.
