Methods and Cases in Computing Education Workshop 30 June, Cádiz

10.02.2010

The Spanish Chapter of ACM SIGCSE organizes a series of events on education, learning and curricular design in computing. The event has an international scope, even though eventually there will be sessions especially devoted to issues that are local to Spain.

Computing here is considered in a broad sense, including Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology, including studies of Computing Applications in the context of degrees from other areas, such as Engineering, Health Sciences, Information Science, Telematics and Bioinformatics. The event especially welcomes submitions of studies that are accompanied by empirical data, or educational materials that are shared with open access licenses, so contributing to the development of computing education as a discipline. On this edition, the sessions will have a special focus on analyzing the conclusions of ACM's Future of Computing Education Summit (FoCES).

The workshop series on Methods and Cases in Computing Education (MCCE) is intended for the communication and dissemination of the activities of the chapter members. It is celebrated on a yearly basis and publishes articles dealing with the joy, pain and hope of our daily teaching and research experiences in computing education.

Contributions must be submitted before March 30th.
