Back Catalan for teaching at UPF

Catalan for teaching at UPF

21.07.2009

The UPF has organized a course of Catalan for teaching, aimed at the whole PDI (Teaching and research team) who has just began working at the UPF or who is about to begin working next year and needs an intensive course on Introduction to Catalan language and culture. It is a 12-hour course, equivalent to A1/A2 Catalan level (Starting and Basic level), which will take place in September, before the beginning of the academic year.

This course is part of the Plan of Action for Multilingualism (2007-2013), in which the UPF works generally with three languages: Catalan, Spanish and English. Therefore, teachers will be able to choose any of these three languages to teach while students will have the right to use any of them.
