The USQUID of the center has developed during the first three years of the ICT Bachelors’ Degrees a study to know what the performance of the Final Degree Project is in terms of qualifications. According to the results obtained in the different studies, the following relevant aspects are observed:

  • Regarding “General data”:
    • The scope of grades is found, in the three promotions, between 5 and 10 (these being the values corresponding to the minimum and maximum grades).
    • The average value of the grades of the three promotions analyzed is 8.92, 8.68 and 8.39 out of 10 respectively.
    • The mode of grades is concentrated at the 9 on the first promotion, 10 on the second and 9 on the third.
    • There is a slight increase in the deviation of the notes, this being 1.11 (first promotion) 1.17 (second promotion) and 1.22 points in the third promotion.

  • Regarding “Specific data” according to the Degree it is observed that:
    • GEI:
      • In the first promotion the minimum grade registered was of 7. In case of the second and third promotion the scope of grades goes from 5 to 10.
      • In the third edition of the study it is observed a decrease of 0.23 points in the deviation regarding the value obtained in the second promotion. Regarding the grade average, it is observed a slight decreasing, passing from 9.13/10 to 8.87/10 until arriving to the 8.43/10 in the study of the third promotion.
    • GET:
      • The range of grades was of 5-10 in the first and second promotions and of 7-10 in the second. The average has decreased more than 0.5 points between the second and third promotions, going from 8.7 to 8.16/10. But the deviation has increased, achieving in the third edition of the study the maximum value of analyzed cases and increasing, regarding the study of the second promotion, in 0.54 points.
    • GESA:
      • This is the grade that, in the 2012-2013 academic year, concentrated the highest values in terms of grades, in 2013-2014 it concentrated the lowest and in 2014-2015 it again had the highest average grade, specifically of 8.44 (exceeding GEI by only 0.01 point).
