Analysis of our graduates' employment outcomes (2022 class)

As every year, the UCA ETIC Innovation Area has conducted an analysis of the LinkedIn profiles of the ICT and BIO Engineering degrees graduates from the School (2022 class)

Here we present the most significant results:

We have found 121 updated profiles on LinkedIn out of 175 ICT and GEBM graduates from the 2018-2022 class, that is, 69% of the total number of graduates.

34 graduates (28.09%) have pursued further education and 77.68% are currently working in positions related to their degree.

Programming is the main area of employment among the graduates that are currently working (29.78%).

Regarding detailed data on each specific degree:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering (GEI):
    • 79.40% of the profiles seem updated and currently working in positions related to the degree.
    • 25.92% of them have pursued further education.
    • Programming is by far the main area of employment among GEI graduates.
  • Bachelor's degree in Telematic Networks Engineering (GEXT):
    • 83.30% of the updated profiles are currently working. 33.33% have pursued further education.
    • Programming is the main area of employment among graduates in GEXT that are currently working.
  • Bachelor's degree in Audiovisual Systems Engineering (GESA):
    • The GESA presents the highest employment ratio: 94.70% of the updated profiles are currently working. 10.52% of the graduates have pursued further education.
    • Programming and other positions related to data analysis are the main areas of employment among GESA graduates.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Engineering in Data Science (GEMCD):
    • 87.09% of the updated profiles are currently working and 29.03% have pursued further education.
    • Data engineer and data analyst are the most frequent positions among the updated profiles of graduates in GEMCD that are currently working.
  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering (GEBM):
    • When the search was run, 44.70% of the graduates were working and 39.47% had pursued further education.
    • There is a wide range of positions, the main ones being related to the category "Biomedical engineer".
