Study third Graduate class in Biomedical Engineering @ UPF

The Unit of Support for Quality and Engineering Teaching Innovation @UPF has done this year the study on the Third Graduate class in Biomedical Engineering (2013-2017 graduating class; check the study done for the first and second graduate classes).

As in the previous editions, the study covered three aspects: academic, personal, and professional/plans of future. 62.5% of graduates (15/24) participated in the study, 73.3% were women (11) and 26.7% (4) men.

From the results it can be seen that, among the general competences that participants perceive as the most developed, the ones that stand out are: the ability to recognize and understand diversity, multiculturalism and non-discrimination based on gender (4.6/5) and the working in teams (4.4/5). These two competences were also the highest scored in the last edition of the study. Follow the critical and self-critical capacity and Professional ethics (4.3/5). 13.3% of the participants see themselves doing research in two years time, 66.7% working in a private company.
