ESUP teachers win the UPF Social Council Prize for Teaching Quality

Four different UPF Social Council prizes were winning by teachers of our UCA (Engineering and ICT). All of them within the category of “Teaching Quality”. Following the details of winner projects and initiatives:

  • Bachelor’s degree inBiomedical Engineering (professor Oscar Càmara) with “Professional Projects as a Methodology to promote Students’ Empowerment”
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering (professors: Glòria Haro, Jordi Taixés, José María Esnaola, José Ángel García-Cerdaña, María Oliver and Vanessa Daza) with “Using Kahoot at Computer Engineering Degree (Calculus and Lineal Algebra). Gamification experience for fostering students’ learning and motivation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Network Engineering (professos: Ana Freire, Albert Bel and Davinia Hernández-Leo) with “Using NearPod and PyramidApp in different subjects of Telecommunication Network Engineering Degree. Gamification experience for fostering students’ learning and motivation
  • Joint candidature of all UPF  within the cateogory “Teaching Initiative” with “HackLab UPF as an initiative to promote both informal and interdisciplinary learing”

Prizes will be given in the Academic year 2017-2018 Official Opening
