Enrichment of the University’s cultural heritage.
Cow Going Abstract, of Roy Lichtenstein, 1982
Pablo Salvador Coderch donated a reproduction of Roy Lichtenstein's painting "Cow Going Abstract" to the UPF. The work donated by the emeritus professor of Civil Law at the University is a colour silkscreen on paper, numbered and signed, which he recovered from the rubbish and has restored.
Honorary Doctorates
UPF has set itself the goal of increasing the number of honorary doctorates granted related to artistic creation. This recognition thus seeks not only to highlight figures who stand out for their scientific career, but also for their activities in the cultural field.
Virtual Exhibitions
Throughout the history of UPF, its campuses have hosted several exhibitions ranging from the homage to Pompeu Fabra to the history of the University’s various campuses, some of which can be visited virtually.
Virtual shelves
The virtual bookshelves are selections of resources from the University Library's collection that are published on the occasion of an ephemeris or an event.
Artistic Work
The opening of each academic year hosts the work of an artist, designed to welcome in the new academic year in the form of a poster. This collection of works belongs to the University's artistic heritage.

Policia 1974
This piece is permanently exhibited at the Poblenou campus, and is the work of the artist and emeritus professor of the Department of Communication of the UPF Jordi Pericot (El Masnou, 1931). The agreement between the UPF and the IDEAL center, which dedicated the exhibition "Art Expandit" to Pericot, has allowed the University to exhibit this work that alludes to Franco's police repression.
Tecno Track
Tecno Track is a permanent exhibition of technological solutions arising through the research conducted at the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, located on the Poblenou campus.
UPF Art Track
Taking the artistic heritage of UPF as its basis, a cultural itinerary has been designed called UPF Art Track on the Ciutadella campus showcasing much of the University’s artistic, architectural and cultural heritage. It can also be visited via Google Arts and Culture.
"De rerum natura"
“De rerum natura” (On the Nature of Things) is the title of the documentary directed by Alba Cros, UPF alumni of Audiovisual Communication and filmmaker. It shows the creative process behind the Punktocrator: a graffiti work that has been guarding the façade of the Dipòsit de les Aigües building on the UPF Ciutadella campus since March, the work of artist Frank Trepax, Francesc Punsola’s pseudonym, who used a window of the façade of the iconic building as his canvas.
