On Monday, November 27, 2023, Ona Anglada i Pujol defended 'Queer Readings of Friendship among Gamers: Analysis of Discourses on Love, Sex, and Masculinities in the Real Person Slash of Rubelangel and Septiplier.' This doctoral thesis was supervised by Dr. Mercè Oliva and was part of the Medium research group in Communication. The defense took place at the Poblenou Campus of Pompeu Fabra University, and the committee was composed of Dr. María del Mar Guerrero-Pico (UPF), Dr. Núria Araüna (URV), and Dr. Simona Tirocchi (UniTO). The event attracted around fifty attendees.
