Current position: Mònika is senior lecturer at the Department of Communication, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, Spain.  Research interests: Her main research lines are the following: a) Social effects of advertising b) Communication and Eating Disorders c) Events management and strategic Communication. Current research: "Communication and body image" and "Advertising as an influential factor on Eating Disorders".  Results of a research project, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation
