Studies Accommodations

1. Contact and interview

Accommodations are reasonable adjustments that facilitate your access to and continuation in university education, without reducing the level of academic rigor, always with the aim of achieving the competencies established in the study program.

If you require support and adaptations in your studies, you may request an appointment with us at any time during the academic year, except for the fifteen days prior to the start of exams. Please remember that, to do so, you must be logged into the Campus Global.

On the day of the interview you will need to provide the medical documentation. 
- Diagnostic report: it must clearly include the clinical diagnosis according to the classification of the DSM-5 or the CIE-10, as well as the signature and identification data of the professional who has issued it.
- In case of having a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%: it is necessary to provide the optional technical opinion where the diagnostic information is recorded, together with the official resolution of recognition of the degree of disability.

Students who have been granted accommodations may be summoned, on a case-by-case basis, by the Inclusion team in order to monitor their implementation and assess their appropriateness and effectiveness.

Likewise, in cases where the health condition or disorder may involve changes in symptomatology or in the degree of severity, it will be necessary to provide supporting documentation that is as up to date as possible.

2. Classes Adjustments

During all the academic year we will do a follow-up about all the settled adjustments: document digitalization, support and accompaniment.

3.  Exams Adjustments

We will deliver to you all the agreed and needed resources in order to facilitate exams realizations: computers with adapted programs, additional time, font size enlarged in the text.

4. Technical support and accompaniment

The university makes available to you all the technical resources and accompaniment that will improve your academic efficiency and will facilitate your stay at the university: computers, FM system, staff support, ...
