The UPF community study grants programme aims to cover the payment of public registration fees and other related public prices arising from this, to students who, in a timely and fortuitous manner, are faced with significant financial difficulties to be able to assume the total or partial cost of the payments established by the University.

The grants address students of UPF’s integrated centres (excluding affiliated centres) enrolled in official undergraduate and master’s degree courses.

Applicants whose financial situation is the result of individual personal decisions, such as the student’s emancipation from the family home, are excluded from this call.

These grants can be awarded only once, with the exception of cases where the Selection Committee considers that a new situation has arisen which affects the family’s financial situation. In any case, priority will be given to applicants that have not previously benefited from these grants.

The types of grants are as follows:

a) Price of credits enrolled in during the academic year covered by the call.

b) Exemption from management fees for non-payment of registration fees at the University.

c) Supplement to the reduction of the public prices of university studies obtained by the Equity scholarship of the academic year of the call for study grants.

(d) Price of retaken credits not covered by the general grant awarded during the academic year covered by the call.

(e) Other grants towards public prices considered by the Committee.
