Graduates of UPF's double bachelor's degree programme in Law and Business Management and Administration or Economics can be sure of finding work quickly, thanks to a professional profile that is in high demand among companies, institutions and organizations. This has been amply demonstrated by the University's double long degree programme in Law and Business Management and Administration in recent years.
Students can take advantage of the programme's sixth academic year to take a master's degree, particularly the studies that prospective lawyers and solicitors require.
Main potential careers for graduates: lawyer, solicitor, civil servant, judge, notary public, registrar, public prosecutor, member of academic and research staff, tax inspector, labour inspector, diplomat, international civil servant, legal consultant, legal advisor to NGOs, and bank, financial service or insurance company employee.
This programme is just as demanding, in terms of academic standards, as the individual bachelor's degree programmes in Law, Business Management and Administration and Economics currently taught at UPF, and has the added value of combining elements thereof.
The first three years of the programme's curriculum consist of subjects corresponding to Law and subjects common to both Business Management and Administration and Economics. Students thus do not have to make a decision on their specialization, by opting for Law and Business Management and Administration or for Law and Economics, until the fourth year.
The double bachelor's degree programme is partly taught in English, and many of its lecturers are from countries other than Spain.
